This category is open to any company in the UK Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices Industry who have demonstrated an impactful learning intervention leading to tangible results. The project may have been in response to an internal (company) need or that of a healthcare provider. It may have been delivered in collaboration with an external learning provider and if so, this should be reflected in the submission. The focus of this category is on how the team worked to identify the learning needs, developed suitable interventions to address these needs and measured the impact of the training on the organisation and or/ customer.
What will the company be measured on?
Measurement will be based on demonstration of how the company achieved against the following areas:
- Effective management and delivery of the project
- Identification of learning needs
- Design of learning content including innovation of approach
- Choice of learning delivery method and implementation of chosen method

This category is open to any individual / team working in the UK Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry, who have demonstrated outstanding customer focus, understanding and support specifically to help re-think, reshape or improve an important patient management pathway in the NHS. The focus of this category is around how the individual, team or organisation/company has understood a problem with existing services, engaged effectively with the NHS and worked with them to develop solutions that will have a real impact on the way patients are managed effectively and safely in todays environment.
What will I be measured on?
Measurement will be based on demonstration of how the individual or team achieved against the following areas:
- How the pathway issue was identified and how well it was understood
- Impact on patient or process
- Analysis of the issue, customer needs and internal capabilities
- Creation and implementation of possible solutions and how these were developed
- Ensuring alignment with company goals, compliance and ABPI best practice
- Demonstration of impact; for the customer & the company

This category is open to UK Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies, who have specifically demonstrated a meaningful collaborative initiative with a NHS organisation during 2020. The outcome of this collaborative effort must have made (or be capable of making) a meaningful difference to NHS services and patient outcomes. Customer and patient focus is key to this category. Participation in this award may be by any appropriate member of the organisation but should carry the support and approval of the MD / GM.
What will measurement be based on?
Measurement will be focused on the way in which the company is demonstrated to have:

This category is open to UK Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies, who have specifically demonstrated a rapid, relevant and meaningful response to the CoVID-19 pandemic through 2020. The focus of this category is around how the company mobilised and organised its expertise and resources in order to effectively support the NHS and patients. Participation in this award may be by any appropriate member of the organisation but should carry the support and approval of the MD / GM.
What will measurement be based on?
Measurement will focus on the way in which the company is demonstrated to have:
